ECIPA History.

The East Central Iowa Tractor Pullers Association (ECITPA), now officially named the East Central Iowa Pullers Association (ECIPA) was formed in the spring of 1995 as 504A Non-Profit Corporation.

The main purpose to promote tractor pulling throughout the State of Iowa and surrounding states, and to operate certain tractor pulling events as scheduled by the corporation.

The ECIPA is currently in its 28th year of competition, having evolved from a handful of tractor only classes, now featuring 15 championship truck, tractor and semi pulling classes.

ECIPA has held pulling events in over 65 different towns or fairs in 5 different states since its incorporation in 1995. (WI, IL, MO, IA, MN)

On average, ECIPA promotes about 20 pulling events per season, with a high of 27 hooks in 2018 and 2019.
