East Central Iowa Pullers Association Crowns 2024 Season Points Champions

Marion, IA – September 16, 2024 – The East Central Iowa Pullers Association (ECIPA) presented by Champion Seed is thrilled to announce the culmination of a spectacular 2024 season with the Season Championship Pull in Rockwell, Iowa and the crowning of the 2024 ECIPA Rexco Equipment Season Points Champions. After a summer of intense competition and high-octane excitement, the season finale celebrated the skill, dedication, and passion of the region’s finest pulling teams.

Season Championships Highlights:

The 2024 ECIPA Season Championships took place on September 6th and 7th, 2024, at the Rockwell Lions Club Chamber Acres, drawing over 110 pullers each night!. The event featured thrilling head-to-head pulls across multiple classes, showcasing a range of powerful tractors and trucks competing for top honors.

2024 ECIPA Points Champions:

In addition to the weekend winners above, the ECIPA also crowned the top point earners of the season who demonstrated consistent excellence throughout the year. The points champions were honored Saturday night in the Hot Shots winners circle at the famed Rockwell, Iowa track.

Season Points Winners include:

• 9,300lb Super Farm Tractor Class Points Champion: Andy Schuldt from Readlyn, Iowa picks up his 3rd ECIPA Points Championship with his International 1486 called the “Red Resurrection”.
• 9,500lb 4.1 Limited Pro Stock Tractor Class Points Champion: Bryce Ricklefs from Anamosa, Iowa locks up his first ECIPA Points Championship during his rookie seasons with a commanding 9 wins with the International 1566 he calls the “Red Revolver”.
• 8,500lb 466 Limited Pro Stock Tractor Class Points Champion: Gary Bontrager from Kalona, Iowa picks up his first ECIPA Points Championship during his rookie season with his International 1066 called “Breaking Barriers”
• 9,500lb Hot Farm Tractors Class Points Champion: Brian Steffen from Zwingle, Iowa squeaks out his 3rd ECIPA Points Championship with 5 wins on the season with his International 766.
• 6,250/6,700lb Light Limited Super Stock Tractor Points Champion: Darin Hynick from Eddyville, Iowa picking up his 4th ECIPA LLSS Points Championship with his John Deere 4010 called “Possessed”.
• 7,700lb 360 Hot Stocks Tractor Points Champion: Andrew Vorwald from Scotch Grove, Iowa claims his 5th ECIPA Points Championship with his International 560!
• 11,000/12,000lb 2 Hot 2 Farm Tractor Points Champion: Dan Heims from Delhi, Iowa picks up his first ECIPA Points Championship with his International 966 with 3 wins on the 2024 season.
• 6,200lb Super Modified 2wd Trucks Points Champion: Randy Wendling and Family from Manchester, Iowa. The Wendling Pulling Team picked up 2 wins and a multitude of top 3 finishes to secure the 2024 ECIPA Points Championship with their 1923 C Cab they call “Special Delivery”
• 8,000lb 2.6 Pro Street Diesel Truck Points Champion: Curt Smalley from Toetervill, Iowa was dominant all season with 10 victories to secure his first ECIPA Championship.in the 2006 Dodge he calls “Boosted Pleasure”.
• 6,200lb Super Stock 2wd Truck Points Champion: Terry Patterson from Elizabeth, Illinois picks up his first ECIPA Championship with his 1992 Ford Ranger called “One Gear Faster”.
• 6,500lb Improved Stock Truck Points Champion: Randy Durkop from Oxford, Iowa squeezed out his 2nd straight ECIPA Championship by 2 points over his wife, Kathy. Randy campaigns his 1980 Ford F350 called “Digging Ditches”.
• 13,000lb Farm Stock Tractor Points Champion: Landen Kuhlmann calls home in Readlyn, Iowa and picks up his first ECIPA Points Championship with his John Deere 4430 called “Bleedin Green”
